So this site has sat dormant for nearly the last year. A pretty cool top-level domain in my mind, something that meant something at some point, a response to capitalism, a radical rejection of consumerism, and above all an idea. It has since become lost in the realization that I don't have time to spend on it, until tonight, when I was working on figuring out how to get videos from an anti-nuclear press conference on-line I decided to look into fixing up this domain.

Many of the ideas and desires that we hold, turn into just lost dreams with a world that doesn't actively work to facilitate creative expression but instead rewards banal persistence. This is of course just the bitterness speaking, persistence isn't banal per se, but when we need to figure out how to commit to things, the lure of money and payment many times will get us off of our asses and throw us into the fold. Poor people typically don't want to work, they do so out of necessity or desire, I'm only beginning to realize the way this mentality works. I've been poor by choice, and due to my background, my lack of education/indoctrination and my rejection of capitalism. This has led me to not have a lot of dedication/determination because when you are poor there is very little to lose by being lazy, or by not pushing yourself, since you hardly have anything in the first place.

Exceptions abound and this little rant has turned into a personal diatribe, any which way, the ideas I'm imagining for this will be an exploration and blog that discusses living for free, freedom, and free culture. Free in the sense of both beer and speech, because we many times will be more free with words when we are drunk. Anyways, I want this to be a blog so that I can benefit from the work of others and get props by simply linking to them, and I want it to be a resource for people to come to and check out, anyways, in all likely hood considering the little amount of free time I seem to have at the moment and the lack of motivation that so often accompanies it I'd be very happy to see anything happen with this domain.
